Welcome to the VCF Ministries website. As you browse through this site you will come to know that our goal is to bring you the truth in God's word. We are located in Oakland, CA. & in Nigeria, Africa. Our church is active with various ministries and workshops for you to grow in the Lord. But through all this activity we try and keep it simple. It's about our love for the Lord Jesus Christ and sharing His love and truth with others, people like you.
In our passion of knowing Jesus we believe the Bible is the revelation of God’s truth to us. He is the living Word, and the handbook to us which is the bible, the written Word are the foundations for all our ministry and our lives. When we come together, wheather large or small, the studying or his word, and applying it to our daily lives is our goal.
We believe that God has a purpose for each church he builds and where he leads them to go. We are a small congregational church that invites anyone, and everyone to come and enjoy. We are a family of the Most High. VCF Ministries began in 1989 in Oakland, CA on E14th. We started off as a Mission of American Indian Baptist Church. Later in 2000 we bought our first church building. God has touched many lives through this ministry, and has done great and mighty miracles. Also, VCF Ministries in Nigeria, Africa started off as a radio ministry sponserd by the mother church in the U.S., later on we felt the leading of the Holy Spirit to start a church also.
